The Deep Web

Searching for information on the Web is a common practice. Most people rely upon Google when they search, believing that it can find anything. But can it? This week’s article looks at the challenges that search engines face in trying to find information in the Deep Web. Go to the link below and read the article. Write a reflective comment that shows you have read the article, expresses your views, and addresses my questions.

What kinds of Deep Web content would you find useful in your life, either now or in the future? What is your opinion about Google’s search results format? How would you modify it to include Deep Web content? How important will accessing Deep Web content be in the future?

Like the kind that's reliable. And the kind that provides a clear difference between reliable and unreliable sites. Educational things, i wouldn't want opinionated documents unless the source is really reliable and sophisticated and stuff.
I love Google. Sometimes I get frustrated because When I search something a million things pop up and i have to look trough all of them until I find what I want.
I wouldn't modify it.
Well it all depends on the future. Probably extremely important as it's pretty important already.

Deep Web content that Separate trustworthy websites from untrustworthy websites can become very helpful to me when researching schoolwork.
I think google is pretty good. It finds me the information I need. also provides me with many different websites to chose from.
Google should add more sites to its search engine; also they should remove unreliable sites. Deep web content, I think, will be very important in the future, Deep web content is necessary to access hidden information and so is very important to enhance research.

Google is my main source of information when I’m researching for essays, projects, etc. But a lot of the time, if I want opinionated documents/essays that would help me more than actual research, I almost never find anything. Getting into more of the deep web is probably one of google’s best ideas yet, and will definitely help them to gain a broader search engine, and will help me to get better research. Many people don’t use google because they can’t get the info they want when they need it, and their new plan would greatly help them to become more publicized, and more widely used.

I think things flight times, shopping catalogs and financial information are already very accessible on the web. I have myself accessed all of these things and there are good search engines out there already to help you. I think that Google is fine but it does not have to be the ultimate best at everything and it satisfies my needs perfectly. Of course, the people down at Google want to stay on top of the ball with new technology developments to keep their spots as the best search engine. That being said, I think the best way to integrate deep web results would to have a separate search feature in which the user specifies what they are looking for to narrow down the search through deep web databases for Google. In the future I expect that the division between deep web and the rest of the web will fall and all information will be equally accessible.

I would like to use Google as my search engine as a main source for my projects, researches and essays. Although among my friends Google is the most popular search engine because its the easiest to use. My opinion about Google’s search result format is excellent because when entering anything which might help it responds as a result to the nearest input. Although Google is an excellent search engine for me but I would prefer if they would include an advanced search which modifies the search by entering specific information, giving exactly the wanted sites. I do think that in the future the deep search and normal ones are going to be the same because search engines such as Yahoo, Msn and Google are competing to produce the best service.

The article wasn't the best when it came to explaining about the Deep Web in my opinion. However, I think that the way that the Deep Web method will be able to cross-reference many sites with one is a unique and efficient method. I think that the method of cross-referencing health sites with one another will be very beneficial in the future since it could help people at home. I think that Googles format is satisfactory since it gives enough options to alter the search and gives a lot of results. I personally wouldn't alter Google since Google already gives a lot of sources with a search and adding the Deep Web content will just add more choices and more confusion to the system. I think that Deep Web will be important later on in the future since people will probably enhance the system and it will provide better results than the present.

I use Google for all of my needs: projects, flight times, jokes, quotes, essays, analyses, etc. I like the way Google organizes its’ search results: I think it is very user friendly and accessible, however I would like to learn more about how to access Deep Web material and how to get to all the undiscovered sites. I do think that Deep Web material will begin to be more and more important as time progresses and there will be a higher need to Deep Web information. Our society only becomes more and more technology based, so changes will have to be made to Google or other main search engines to incorporate the Deep Web.

This is the worst article I have read, I use GOOGLE for almost every assignment that I do for school. I think that all the sites that GOOGLE gives me are reliable, of course I would check the credentials of the site but still I believe that GOOGLE is very reliable.

I would find no deep webs reliable because they are bad. My opinion about google's search results is that it should stay the way it is. I wouldn't modify it because deep web content is not very reliable. Deep web content will not be very important.

Google and Ask.com are some websites i would use to search for looking for something online. Google is a good search engine I don't think it needs any improvement. It can search for anything that you can or cannot find easily. But if they can make Google search deeper into the web then I think everybody should use it. It might be more useful and easier for the people to find something rare or common online.
