Previously, we read about problems that Google had with hackers that they thought originated in China. This week we look more closely at hackers in China and how they operate. Go to the link below and read the article. Write a reflective comment that shows you have read the article, expresses your views, and addresses my questions.
Is hacking ever justified? If so, under what conditions? What is your assessment of Majia? Is what he does justified in any way? Would you like to try hacking? What would you do? What would you do if you knew that a friend was hacking in a way that was obviously wrong in a serious way? What do you think the penalty should be for hacking on a level that does not cause major problems and does not involve stealing?

I do not think that hacking is ever justified as you are invading another persons private space or site, yet if a country is hacking into another countries, say missile computer to save their country or prevent war then I think it would be allowed. I do not think that The Majia case is justified at all. I would not really be interested in hacking anything, I just think it would be very interesting to me in any way. If my friend was hacking I would tell them to stop and explain to them the serious consequences of hacking. I think that penalties depend on how serious the hacking situation is, If for example, if some one hacked into another persons Face book account i do not think their should be a penalty but if it was a bank or something like that then I think there should be fines or even imprisenment.
I don't think that hacking is ever justified. I think what he does is justified is the sense that a person is able to hack so many people around the world. Though this is not a good thing to do but it is something cool. It would be really awesome if I was able to do the same. Yes, I would like to hack my friends and in fact I do sometimes. It is when someone signs in to their e-mail on my computer, and I figure out the login details. I so it sometimes just to play pranks on friends but never harm or change anything to their accounts. If my friend was hacking in such a way, I would tell him it's consequences and tell him that there is no use of hacking. I think that there should be no penalty for hacking to a level where nothing is harmed cause it won't harm anything of the person's account.
I do not think that hacking is ever justified. Hacking can never be done to do something good. My assessment of the Majia is not justified. Nothing he is doing is justified. I wouldn't try hacking because of the fact that I think it is wrong. I wouldn't know what to really do. I would talk to my friend if the hacking was really getting out of control and tell her about how bad it really was getting. I think that people who hack but it isn't very bad should just be left with a warning and if they do it again they should have a more serious penalty.
Generally, I don't think hacking is justified especially when it violates people's right or national security. But sometimes, to keep those safe, hacking is useful;they can confuse the missile or bomb for example. But for Majia, I don't agree with him. Of course his case is not justified, he is just doing for fun and money. And he seems proud of making people confounded. Actually, I am kind a interested in hacking for some fun, hacking my friend's computer. Something like that. But I will not target for massive people. If I knew friend was hacking, I would stop him or she before they gets in to serious business. In my opinion, penalty for light hacking should not be heavy. But they should put the track on their computer, preventing massive problems for future.
I would say that hacking could be justified in certain situations – for example, I would say that hacking is entirely justified if the target is a terrorist entity or criminal syndicate about to launch a major operation, or a hostile government at war. However, Majia is little more than a petty criminal, and I feel that he cannot claim to do anything beneficial for society. I would actually like to try hacking sometime, however. I would probably try and hack the computer systems of criminal or terror groups and pass along their information to authorities to prevent possible acts that would hurt someone. If I knew of a friend who was performing clearly criminal acts like Majia, I would try and convince them to stop or turn themselves in. I would say that even those who do not harm people with their hacking should probably get a short prison sentence, because they are violating their victims’ right to privacy.
Hacking is only justified when it is for national security. What Majia did was not justified but he seems like a nice guy. I would like to try hacking. I would tell my friend but I wouldn't be able to stop them because in the end it is their choice and not mine. I think the penalty for minor hacking should be death.
Hacking in my opinion is never ever justified, because you would be considered invading other peoples personal information. Majia and his case of hacking, are completely not justified. I think that this person cannot do anything useful for the community. I have already tried hacking, and I have succeeded, but my purposes were pure, and the other person knew about it. My friends can make their own decisions, but I would give them some advice, and whether or not they take action and be responsible, is entirely up to them. There should be no penalty, if they are doing it for fun just ,maximize your security, ad get over it.
